CSG - Catholic Singles Group - for Young Adults
The Rochester Catholic Singles Group (CSG) is faith-oriented group of young adults in the Rochester area who get together to have fun, grow in faith, and help others.

CSG (which stands for Catholic Singles Group) is not part of GRAYCE, but it serves much of the same audience: young adult Catholics. GRAYCE and CSG crosslist activities in eachothers' newsletters. The following is copied from the CSG newsletter:

Friday, Oct 12th: Game night
This is our monthly game night, starting at 7pm. Meet in the Pax rectory adjacent to the church office. Bring your favorite board game and a snack or beverage to share.

Saturday, Sept. 8th: Barn Dance in Lanesboro
No experience or partner needed- dances taught as you go. Admission is $6. Plan to meet at the Resurrection parking lot at 7pm and carpool. Contact Nancy at ngaudet99@netzero.net for more details.

Friday, Sept. 14th: Game night
Game night at Pax starting at 7pm. Meet in the Pax rectory adjacent to the church office. Bring your favorite board game and snack or beverage to share.

Wednesday, Sept. 19th: Planning Dinner
Meet for dinner and to make plans for October at 6:30 pm at Azteca (18 9th St. SE). Send ideas to Kris at schneidsrn@hotmail.com if you can’t attend.

Saturday, Sept. 22nd: Dinner and Movie
Dinner and movie night starting at 5pm at Westfire Grille (2043 Superior Drive NW). Movie selection will be made at dinner. Contact Nancy at ngaudet99@netzero.net if interested.

Saturday, Sept. 29th: Frontenac State Park Hike & BBQ.
We will carpool from the Pax Christi parking lot at noon to start our hike at Frontenac. Once an appetite is well developed grilling will begin at once at one of the picnic areas. Sunday, August 19th: Loverboy Concert
Grab a blanket or lawn chair and head for this summer's last "Down by the Riverside" concert featuring the 80's multi-platinum rock band Loverboy. (The group has numerous hits and music is included in the soundtracks from the movies "Top Gun" and "Footloose"). This is a free event held at Mayo Park, behind the Civic Center. Wednesday, August 22nd: Planning Dinner

Salem Glen will be having a vineyard and winery tour starting at 7:00 pm. Topics will include grape varieties that are planted in the upper Midwest for winemaking, and general vineyard maintenance. Following the walk around the vineyard, the winery and the general winemaking process will be explained as well as a sampling of some the Salem Glen's wines. Saturday, February 3rd: Depending on weather, tentatively plan on trying out the new snow tubing park at Steeplechase in Mazeppa. We will meet at 3pm in the lower level parking lot at Pax and carpool to the ski area. Cost: $13 for 2 hours or $15 for 3 hours.
